Parenting means becoming a whole lot of things overnight: cook, nurse, financial planner, entertainer, project manager. And while there's so much information out there it often feels overwhelming and hard to find what really matters in the moment.

That's why we're developing Kinlyst. It's a private, easy-to-use app that brings together trusted guidance with real-life tips from parents. Our hope is that it lightens the load so parents can focus more on the moments that matter most.

Mum to one very busy toddler. The idea of Kinlyst came to me when my son was six months old and we had just moved to a new city. I suddenly found myself without a local parents group, running on almost no sleep and trying to keep up with all the milestones, appointments and admin that come with parenting. More than anything I just wanted to talk to other parents who were in the same boat and hear how they were getting through each day. With over 10 years in HR, learning and development and consulting, I'm using what I've learned to help bring clarity to everyday parenting through Kinlyst.

It's been a whirlwind of changes having kids and if I can help others to feel just a little more at ease with how to handle things, we'll all be winning! I struggled with alot, just knowing what's next on top of full time work, changes in routine, and lack of sleep. You make it work but it's not easy. Some clearer more timely guidance would be huge.
